Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Work in a 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit providing pre and post-surgical care for adult and geriatric patients
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4 or 1:5 during day/PM shifts, 1:5-7 during nights
• Fast-paced unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day with average patient length of stay of 2-3 days
• Must have ability to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work collaboratively as a team
• Required certifications: WI RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Equipment used includes Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
