About this role
Confluence Health Hospital-Central Campus is seeking an RN for its Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), providing 36 guaranteed hours weekly. This is a 92-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,584.
Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
- Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care
- Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
- Collect patient information and conduct holistic ongoing assessments of patient status
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
- Address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients
- Educate patients, families, and significant others with appropriate health information and written materials
- Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
- Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to hospital and unit policies
- Float as a sitter and may float in rotation as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures
Requirements:
- Washington State or Compact RN Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
