Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities
• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments including external beam, SBRT/VMAT, and conventional treatments
• Treat approximately 20 patients per day
• Operate Varian True Beam, Aria, and AlignRT equipment
• Monitor and report unexpected effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, and treatment incompatibilities
• Evaluate and assess daily physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient to treatment
• Accurately document treatment procedures, billing codes, and maintain daily treatment records
• Construct and utilize immobilization devices and beam directional devices to facilitate treatment delivery
• Provide patient and family education to maximize understanding of the plan of care
• Provide age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients
• Any color scrubs are acceptable as dress code
