RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide specialized cardiac care for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac conditions
• Care for patients with electrolyte-related dysrhythmias and tachy-brady syndromes
• Care for patients awaiting heart transplantation and those with implantable cardiac devices including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and ventricular assist devices (VADs)
• Manage patients undergoing cardiac procedures including pre- and post-cardiac catheterization
• Support patients undergoing electrophysiology studies, ablation, and chemical cardioversion
• Administer anti-dysrhythmic therapy such as Tikosyn
• Work within a high acuity cardiology care unit
