Med Surg RN Job in Cleveland, OH

You will provide direct patient care on a 24-bed medical-surgical unit at Cleveland Medical Center. Your patients will include orthopedic, trauma, and non-acute stroke cases, with some neuro-surgical admissions. This is a Level II trauma facility with an age-friendly NICHE designation, meaning you'll work in an environment designed to optimize outcomes for older adults.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Deliver bedside care to medical-surgical adult inpatients across orthopedics, trauma, and related specialties
• Utilize advanced Masimo telemetry monitoring technology for continuous patient surveillance on the unit
• Conduct proactive rounding and structured bedside hand-off procedures to ensure care continuity
• Implement pain management strategies tailored to each patient's needs
• Contribute to zero-harm initiatives and quality improvement focused on patient safety
• Support the unit's commitment to patient experience and age-friendly care principles

You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team in a facility that prioritizes both clinical excellence and compassionate patient-centered care.
