Opportunity:

Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Perform a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis and assume responsibilities as assigned by Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications, as well as HIS and RIS computer systems
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with departmental and OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and provide excellent patient care
• May be responsible for supervision or instruction of department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist
• On-call required to cover absences
• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage as needed
• Must work a minimum of two holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving/Friday after and weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of upload - RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• 2 years of experience required with 1 year of current experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must be current with all continuing education for radiology and mammography
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required (in hand or proof of application)
• Skills checklist for X-Ray Technologist current within 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
