Pharmacist Inpatient Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join its inpatient pharmacy team in York, Pennsylvania. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 16, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, primarily day shift between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $3,412

Role Responsibilities

You will manage inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on oncology practice. Your responsibilities include IV preparation for both hazardous and non-hazardous medications, chemotherapy compounding, clinical dosing calculations across multiple patient populations, and medication management using the EPIC Beacon system. You will serve neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, applying specialized knowledge in pediatric dosing, geriatric dosing, renal dosing, and pharmacokinetic dosing. You may float to the Apple Hill location, approximately 2 miles away, as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania state pharmacist license (must be in hand before start date)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient or outpatient oncology experience
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credential
• EPIC Beacon experience required
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification
• Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification
• IV certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Required Skills

Chemotherapy preparation, clinical dosing, sterile compounding, IV push medications, IV piggyback administration, Pyxis system proficiency, geriatric and pediatric dosing, renal dosing adjustments, and oncologic pharmacy practice.
