Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Lebanon, PA

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA is seeking an inpatient pharmacist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 40 hours per week, typically between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with every 3rd or 4th Saturday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no on-call requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services for inpatient populations across all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage high-alert medications, anticoagulation therapy, and warfarin dosing
• Perform clinical dosing, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing calculations
• Compound medications using sterile technique
• Support antibiotic stewardship and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Utilize EPIC Beacon and Pyxis systems in daily workflow
• Provide holiday coverage as needed

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania state pharmacy license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC Beacon and Pyxis
• Competency in antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, compounding, high-alert medications, inpatient and acute care, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, sterile technique, and warfarin dosing
