CT Technologist Job in Myrtle Beach, SC

You'll work as a CT Technologist in the Radiology unit at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, performing ED and inpatient CT exams. This is a fast-paced role where you'll operate independently across multiple scanners and handle a high volume of studies in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• Operate GE CT equipment independently (GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners)
• Process an average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
• Document patient information and exam results using the Meditech system
• Provide compassionate care to all patients during imaging procedures

Staffing & Workflow:

• You'll work nights: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each per week)
• The overnight team consists of 3 technologists total, with 2 technologists per scanner during day shifts
• Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• Allied Health Professional degree
