CVICU RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a regional contract position. You will work a 3x12 night shift schedule and earn $2,422 weekly. This is an 89-day assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

About the Role

As a CVICU RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac surgical patients, including those recovering from open heart procedures and those requiring mechanical support devices. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct thorough patient assessments—physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural—and coordinate discharge planning
• Review patient history and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians and care team members
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and adjust plans as needed
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Participate in shared leadership, education, and orientation of staff and families

Experience and Qualifications

You must have direct CVICU experience with open heart recovery, Impella, and IABP management. Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience is required, with specialty experience within the past 12 months. Current Colorado RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Colorado CAPS certification is required. A Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.

Schedule and Facility

You will work nights on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy. This is a regional contract with potential to float to NCMC and BFC based on staffing needs. Banner North Colorado Medical Center is located at 1801 16th St, Greeley, CO.
