CVICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish as a Registered Nurse in our 16-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This is a travel position offering three 12-hour night shifts per week, working from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on the 3rd floor of the Main Building.

Unit Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift team includes 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT (when census exceeds 14 patients)
• 24/7 physician coverage with intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon available

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac and post-operative patients
• Perform and assist with intubations and central line placement
• Manage equipment including cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
• Utilize the Meditech EMR system for documentation and clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of hospital ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations
• Prior Meditech experience

You will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where patient care experience is prioritized. This 91-day assignment begins November 16, 2026, and provides a weekly pay of $1,962.
