Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Surgical ICU unit on the 3rd Floor of the Main Building
• Patient ratios of 2:1, which may increase to 3:1 based on unit needs
• Day shift includes Charge RN, Unit Secretary, and RNs; Night shift includes Charge RN and RNs
• No on-call requirement
• Floating requirement to MICU, telemetry, and med-surg units as needed
• Utilize bedside monitoring equipment, IABP, CRRT, and Impella devices
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform and assist with central line insertion and care
• Perform and assist with chest tube insertion and care
• Minimum ICU experience required; candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
• Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• Surgical ICU experience preferred
• Must demonstrate a caring, compassionate, respectful, and team-oriented approach to patient care
• Attendance is closely monitored
