CT Technologist Job in Hilo, HI

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 30, 2026. You will work a 4x10 rotating shift schedule with no on-call responsibilities, earning $3,212 weekly.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols and work independently without direct supervision. Your responsibilities include scanning per established standards while maintaining patient care and safety in an acute hospital setting.

Required Qualifications:

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) before assignment start
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
• Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans at minimum
• Ability to function independently without supervision

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation
• Venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging experience
• Procedures including biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke work

Assignment Details:

Shifts may vary based on operational need. No time off requests will be granted during the first 13 weeks of contract. This is an Allied Health Professional role at a medical center in Hawaii's beautiful Hilo area.
