CT Technologist Job in Hilo, HI

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join its imaging department on a 91-day travel assignment. This is a full-time position offering 4x10 rotating shifts with no on-call responsibilities, and you'll earn $3,290 weekly.

About the Role

You will perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols and function independently without direct supervision. Your responsibilities include operating Canon/Toshiba CT units, managing the Vitrea workstation, and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care across the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) prior to assignment start
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
• Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans at minimum

Preferred Experience

• Meditech EMR proficiency
• Venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging experience
• Procedures including biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging

Assignment Details

Your assignment runs for 91 days, beginning December 7, 2026. Shifts may vary based on operational need. Please note that no time off requests will be granted during the first 13 weeks of your contract.
