Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking an RN for a Medical-Surgical nursing position on a Neuro Med Surg unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 38-bed Neuro Med Surg unit with a team of 55 staff members
• Patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 during day shift (estimated)
• Day shift structure includes 2 charge nurses without patients, 4–5:1 RN ratio, and 2 PCTs
• Weekly pay: $1,892.16

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Neuro experience
• Meditech EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Perform NIH and stroke assessments, comprehensive neuro assessments, and fall risk assessments
• Provide trach care and feeding tube management
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, seizure monitoring, BiPAP, CPAP, and glucometers
• Demonstrate initiative and strong collaboration with the care team
• Apply critical thinking skills and manage multiple patient needs simultaneously
