Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
• On-call requirement of 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (every 6th weekend for weekend call)
• Call crew remains until all cases for the day are completed and will receive a day off following call
• Handle 15-20 cases per day across 4 cath lab rooms
• STEMI receiving center with high volume of STEMI cases each month
• Must be comfortable with critically ill patients
• Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Experience with Siemens/Phillips equipment helpful but not required
• Familiarity with laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet equipment required
• Ventilator experience required as respiratory therapists are present for those cases
• X-ray experience required
• No floating required
• Scrubs provided
• Agency must provide radiation badge for traveler
• 1-2 days of unit orientation provided
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT, Fluoroscopy (RCIS not accepted)
• All MyJourney modules must be completed prior to arrival
