ED RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Join OU Health as an RN in the Emergency Department. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, offering an opportunity to deliver nursing care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, nights
• Weekly pay: $2,450.88
• Trauma and travel experience required
• Block scheduling is not available

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Deliver competent patient care consistently
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
