CT Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology and Cardiology department. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts, Saturday through Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on-call requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient exams
• Conduct specialized imaging including CT abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis with and without contrast
• Execute vascular CTA and pulmonary embolism imaging protocols
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Manage contrast media preparation and administration
• Start peripheral IVs and follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Produce high-quality special imaging with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment
• Serve a daily census of approximately 40 patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (R), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)
• Proficiency with Sectra PACS system

Facility Details

The department operates one Siemens CT scanner, two portable Shimadzu X-ray machines, one GE X-ray room, and Sectra PACS system. You will wear black and/or teal scrubs. Free parking is available with a pass distributed at the start of your assignment.

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,336
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
