ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

You'll work as an RN in the ICU at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital, taking on 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,839.60 and a structured 3x12 night shift schedule.

Unit Overview

The ICU has 12 beds with patient ratios of approximately 1:2 to 1:3. You'll work within an established night shift staffing structure and may be asked to float across all three campus locations as needed.

Clinical Responsibilities

Your daily work will include monitoring patients on critical care equipment such as cardiac monitors, CRRT machines, IV pumps, fluid warmers, and blanket coolers. You'll perform and assist with a range of procedures including dialysis line insertions, arterial line insertions, central line insertions, cardioversion, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Ventilator competency and IV drip competency preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred
