ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 7, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment while earning $2,349 weekly.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Unit: Coronary Care Unit with 26 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Team composition: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care using specialized equipment and performing advanced procedures in a coronary care setting. Your daily work will include operating balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment. You will perform or assist with heart catheterizations, balloon pump management, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, cardioversion, central line placement, and medication drip management. Documentation will be completed using the Meditech EMR system.

Requirements

• Current RN license (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
• Experience working in large facility ICU units
