Telemetry RN Job in Lufkin, TX

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the night shift. This is a 12-week travel assignment starting September 21, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM
• Unit size: 45 beds with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Variable schedule required; no on-call responsibilities
• Floating required across the unit

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• 1+ year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Wound Care
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• EMR system: MEDHOST
• Dress code: Dark Navy Blue scrubs
• RTO blackout dates: December 24th and 25th

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $1,576.80

This role offers the opportunity to work in a structured telemetry environment with consistent night hours and clear patient assignments. You will be part of a 45-bed unit focused on cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical care. The facility uses MEDHOST for electronic records, so familiarity with this system is beneficial. Your role will include patient monitoring, medication administration, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
