Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital St Louis is seeking an RN for a 91-week travel assignment in Telemetry on the Medical Surgical unit. You'll work 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with a patient ratio of 4–6:1 in a mixed adult population (50% Medical, 50% Telemetry).

Assignment Details:

• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week, at your request
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday, unless otherwise approved)
• No on-call requirements
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13-week period may be automatically approved
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Perform direct patient care activities: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Use standard Telemetry equipment with EPIC EMR

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Telemetry experience
• Current RN license eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS and ACLS from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Black scrubs required

Orientation:

Night shift orientation occurs on day shift. You must be available the entire week for orientation to ensure a smooth transition into your role.

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $2,431
