CT Technologist Job in Laurium, MI

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology department in Laurium, Michigan. This is a 91-day travel position beginning September 28, 2026, offering $3,641 weekly compensation.

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging procedures as part of a comprehensive radiology unit that includes General Radiology, CT, Mammography, Surgery, and Portable X-Ray services. You must demonstrate proficiency in both CT and Diagnostic Radiology procedures with strong general radiology experience. Your responsibilities will include patient positioning, protocol selection, image acquisition, and quality assurance.

Schedule and Availability

• 5x8 hour variable shifts with typical 8:30 AM start time
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (except during orientation)
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation potentially required depending on assignment length
• Float requirement to Aspirus Houghton Clinic as needed
• On-call coverage for weekdays and weekends with 30-minute response time (15 minutes for code stroke)
• 2-hour minimum call-back commitment
• May be placed on call during low-census periods

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CT experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT(CT)(R) certification
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Required Competencies

You should be team-oriented and self-motivated with strong customer service skills. You must be able to work independently while maintaining communication with nursing, physician, and support staff. Flexibility and adaptability to varying workloads and patient populations are essential.
