CT Technologist Job in Sault St. Marie, MI

You will perform computed tomographic and radiographic imaging studies at MyMichigan Health - Sault, following established protocols and departmental standards. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting October 12, 2026.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies, differentiating between normal and abnormal anatomy
• Tailor exams based on patient history, protocol, and radiologist instruction
• Administer IV and oral contrast as required according to departmental protocols
• Monitor patients' physical and mental condition throughout procedures and record data appropriately
• Provide radiation protection using gonadal shielding and collimation
• Obtain vital signs and pertinent clinical history from patients
• Perform venous puncture for contrast administration
• Assist radiologists with sterile procedures using sterile technique
• Identify allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions and assist radiologist in treatment

Schedule and compensation:

You will work 5x8 nights at $2,955.17 per week. No on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements.

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• 2+ years of CT experience
• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Current skills checklist pertinent to CT specialty (within 1 year)
• 2 supervisory reference forms taken within the last two years
• Proficient in venous puncture
• Experience with Toshiba CT Scanner preferred
• Must reside outside of a 100-mile radius of the facility
