CT Technologist Job in Mount Clemens, MI

McLaren Macomb is seeking a CT Technologist for a temporary assignment in Mount Clemens, MI. This role operates on a 5x8 day shift schedule for 91 days, beginning November 30, 2026. You will earn $2,831 per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up, monitor, and operate computerized tomography equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Transfer and position patients using proper safety standards and lifting techniques
• Apply immobilization devices as needed
• Obtain and document vital patient information, including known allergies and medical history
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously per Radiologist protocol
• Capture, store, transfer, and copy electronic and digital images; record all studies on magnetic tape for future reference
• Maintain image quality and perform daily calibration and quality control of equipment following department guidelines
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions and assist with emergency medical situations, including basic CPR
• Assist Radiologists and physician specialists in specialized radiological procedures
• Review and record pertinent patient history and clinical data to support Radiologist diagnosis
• Organize daily patient schedules in cooperation with work-room technicians
• Maintain cleanliness of the working environment and monitor department supply inventory levels
• Participate in quality assessments and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Schedule Requirements:

• Every other weekend shifts required
• On-call availability possible
• Must work 2 out of 3 upcoming holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Philips equipment experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARRT certification
