CVOR Technologist Job in Odessa, TX

Join Odessa Regional Medical Center as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) support. This 91-day travel position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment while earning $2,044 weekly.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (end times vary based on procedures)
• On-call requirements: 6–8 days per month
• Duration: 91 days, starting August 17, 2026
• Location: Odessa, Texas

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, including sterile fields, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout cases
• Simultaneously manage the sterile field and surgical specimens
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
