About this role

Tide Health Group – Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a long-term care setting in Marlborough, MA. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting August 31, 2026.

Position Details

  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (day shift)
  • Weekly pay: $1,670.40
  • No on-call or weekend requirements

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Apply evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions and treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device instruction
  • Assess patient progress and communicate findings with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as needed
  • Report treatment effectiveness and outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and interdisciplinary team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
  • Contribute to discharge summaries and regulatory documentation per facility requirements
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
  • Record treatment minutes for all services provided according to regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
  • Attend required facility and company trainings, in-services, and conferences
  • Coordinate with supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies
  • Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Adhere to APTA standards, state practice acts, and professional code of conduct and ethics

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts PTA license
  • Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
