Telemetry RN Job in Wichita, KS

You'll work as an RN on our Telemetry unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You'll earn $2,070 per week.

About the Unit

The Intermediate Care unit is located on the 3rd floor of the main building and operates 37 beds. Night shift includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Your typical patient ratio is 1:6, with 1:4 for Heart Cath recovery patients (estimated, never guaranteed).

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients throughout your shift
• Perform procedures including central line management, medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Operate equipment such as PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with your team

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
• NIH certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and positive attitude

You'll be part of a collaborative night shift team in a 37-bed unit. This assignment begins on October 6, 2026.
