Respiratory Therapist Job in Columbia, MO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-week night shift position at Boone Health in Columbia, Missouri. You will earn $2,190 weekly and work in a dynamic critical care environment serving patients across all age groups.

Role Overview

You will provide respiratory care in multiple settings including ICU, NICU, Emergency Room, and general floor therapy. Your responsibilities include managing mechanical ventilation, delivering critical care therapies, and handling 8–12 cases every 4 hours with an approximate 15-minute productivity standard per count.

Required Experience & Skills

• Mechanical ventilation and critical care experience required
• Proficiency with ventilators including Drager v500, vn500, Evita XL, Carina, and Philips V60 and V30
• NICU experience preferred; NRP certification required if you have NICU experience
• Ability to administer medications including LABA, LAMA, SABA, ICS, and surfactant

Common Procedures & Diagnoses

You will perform inhaled medications, noninvasive ventilation, arterial puncture, inhaled nitric oxide, and heliox. You may treat patients with respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, post-operative CAB, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, sleep apnea, ARDS, prematurity, and COVID-19.

Contract Terms

This is a 91-week assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with night shift hours. The facility retains the right to downstaff travelers for 36–48 hours within any 13-week contract period based on the weekly schedule.
