About this role

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry float pool serving the Denver metropolitan area. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, with a 91-day contract starting October 5, 2026. You'll earn $2,376 weekly.

Assignment Details

  • Float pool coverage within a 60-mile radius of Denver City Center, including OrthoColorado Hospital (Lakewood), Longmont United Hospital (Longmont), St. Anthony Hospital (Lakewood), and St. Anthony North Hospital (Westminster)
  • Two scheduling options: single-facility assignment for the week with potential unit floats, or Just-In-Time assignment 1–2 hours before shift start
  • 6–9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
  • May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
  • Schedules released 4–6 weeks in advance; all time off requests must be submitted before your start date

Clinical Environment

  • Float across multiple units: General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
  • May float to other acuity levels including ICU (low acuity holds) and PCU/Stepdown
  • Patient population: adults and geriatrics with cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, urology post-surgical, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine diagnoses
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 based on acuity
  • Nurse aides available; designated charge nurse on each unit (does not typically take patient assignment)
  • Required to titrate Heparin drips
  • RT equipment available including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
  • Charting via EPIC

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience; prior neuro experience preferred
  • Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
  • Cannot miss more than 3 shifts in the 13-week contract
  • Rare call or standby requirement for low census situations

Additional Information

  • 1–2 days of orientation with a preceptor
  • Any color scrubs permitted
