Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish CO as a Registered Nurse on our Neuro Med/Surg unit in Denver, Colorado. This is a travel position offering 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three shifts per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a 38-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 4–5:1 RN on night shift, supported by 1–2 charge nurses depending on census. Your responsibilities include performing neurological assessments, NIH/stroke assessments, and fall risk evaluations. You will manage tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, and operate equipment including IV pumps, seizure monitoring devices, Bi-PAP, CPAP, and glucometers. The unit uses Meditech for electronic medical records.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Neuro experience (preferred)
• Meditech EMR experience (preferred)
• Strong critical thinking, initiative, and multitasking abilities
• Collaborative team approach and enthusiasm for the neuro patient population

Duration: 91 days | Start Date: November 16, 2026 | Weekly Pay: $1,892.16
