ICU Registered Nurse Job in Bolivar, MO

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. This is a 13-week contract position on the night shift.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required; accommodations available for those wanting more than 50% weekends
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling not guaranteed; blocked schedules over weekends are more accommodating

Responsibilities

You will float between ICU and Telemetry units. Patient ratios are 2–3 patients in ICU and 4–5 patients in Telemetry. You will provide care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, sepsis, AKI, DKA, TIA/stroke, arrhythmias, and electrolyte imbalances.

Required skills include Impella and balloon pump experience, stroke and STEMI care, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventilator management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 Center
• Missouri or Compact nursing license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 references required

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,197. The contract begins October 26, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Scrubs are navy blue.
