ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment throughout all phases of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians
• Collaborate with own team and other disciplines in the provision of care
• Complete documentation of patient care, patient condition, reactions, and response to treatment in a timely manner and track patient progress
• Work in an 11-bed Emergency Department
• Every other weekend required with availability for holiday coverage
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• 2+ years of ED experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge experience required
• TNCC preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Michigan RN license required
• Skills checklist (Medical Surgical, pertinent to position) current within 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of submission - requests after offer will not be approved
