Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with multiple shift options: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Leadership will create schedule based on department needs
• Weekend and holiday requirements vary based on department needs
• Must float to OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER at least once per week
• Work in fast-paced, high acuity Level I Trauma Center environment
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (NRP preferred)
• Driver's license required at submittal for 50-mile radius verification
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Must pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation with 90% passing score required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will lead to contract termination
• Patient ratios: 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, 1:1 ICU/Trauma
• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Work with common diagnoses including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, strokes
• Administer all common drips seen in Level I trauma ERs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Complete 1 week onboarding, 2 shifts at Bergan, 1 shift at UC for orientation
• Cannot be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility within 50 miles
