CVICU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as an RN in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), paying $1,918.44 per week. Your start date is June 1, 2026.

Unit Details

• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 care for certain device patients
• Float as needed, typically to other ICUs but may include other floors
• Equipment: Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Support patients on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, and other procedures on unit
• Manage PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred

Scheduling Requirements

• 2 weekends per month
• 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day)
• 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day)

Qualifications

• Strong critical care experience and CVICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

• Scrubs in black, red, or galaxy blue; scrub jackets or vests only
