Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Every other weekend required: nights Friday/Saturday/Sunday, days Saturday/Sunday
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Treat a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and neonates
• Must be able to intubate independently for adult patients
• Prior Level 2-3 NICU experience with ventilators required; previous NICU experience preferred as facility operates a Level III NICU
• Pediatric floor care and adult experience required
• Treatment load varies and may include multiple floors with treatments or ICU with ventilators and non-invasive ventilation
• Ventilators used: Servo U, Hamilton G5, Hamilton T1 Transport Vent, Philips Respironics V60 BiPAP, and AirVo & MaxTech high flow heated systems
• Duties include assessing patients, administering oxygen therapy, airway management, resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, postural drainage, chest physiotherapy, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, inhalers, and ABGs
• Perform EKGs during off hours from 5:00 PM through 7:00 AM and all weekend, excluding the ER
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Gray
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP, and RRT (CRT accepted if license was held prior to July 1, 2022)
