Job Details:

• Day shift hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; Night shift hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Report time for night shift is 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM
• Set schedules with manager scheduling out 4 weeks at a time
• Every other weekend required; open to travelers wanting to work only weekends
• Holidays worked only if they fall on a scheduled workday; applicable holidays are Christmas and New Year's
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Floating within facility only
• As many as 40 to 70 treatments per therapist per day
• Perform breathing treatments, ventilator management, ABG draws and running samples, and EKGs for both inpatient and outpatient
• Cover all inpatient areas, emergency department, inpatient EKGs, outpatient EKGs, and outpatient bronchoscopies in a procedural setting
• May be called to initiate CPAP on an infant
• Can have as many as 8 to 9 vents in ICU at a time
• Assist in intubation only; travelers will not be required to perform critical care transporting outside of the facility
• Lead therapist or supervisor always available for questions
• ER, ICU, and inpatient adult experience required; pediatric experience preferred with willingness to train on pediatrics
• Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, Avea, Bipap V60, and Vapotherm for high flow
• Charting system: Expanse - hCare
• Professional scrubs of any color required; professional appearance, no long nails, and clean shaven for men
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS, STABLE Certification
• RRT preferred
• Must provide a copy of an unexpired driver's license at time of submission
• Must disclose any licensing hits at time of submission
• Must reside outside of a 100 mile radius
