ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience required
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Work in a 64-bed unit consisting of 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active New York RN license required
