Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You will provide direct patient care on a 44-bed acute medical-surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 12-hour day shift position working 3 days per week, with shifts running 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing a patient ratio of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Caring for acute care patients; floating to cardiology (medical patients) and the emergency care unit (acute care patient holds) as needed
• Charting in Meditech; prior experience is preferred but not required
• Collaborating with CNA support on your unit

Schedule details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend is required
• Holidays are staffed as needed
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours off every 2 weeks

What you bring:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIHSS (AHA) certification
• BSN is not required

You will wear Caribbean Blue scrubs. Telemetry patients are monitored on a separate unit.

This assignment runs 119 days, starting June 30, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,073.60.
