Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on the Med/Surg unit. This is a 6-month contract role offering competitive weekly compensation of $2,241.

Position Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Every other holiday schedule required
• Contract duration: 182 days, beginning September 7, 2026

Responsibilities:

You will deliver direct patient care on the Telemetry unit while maintaining cardiac monitoring protocols and supporting a fast-paced med/surg environment. Your clinical judgment and communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility Requirements:

You must be willing to float to multiple med/surg floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units. Floating assignments may include the West Lakes Campus location, situated 9.5 miles from the downtown facility.
