Shawnee Mission Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for their Emergency Department. This is a 90-day travel nursing assignment beginning September 9, 2026.

Position Details

About the Role

You will work as part of a dynamic emergency medicine team, providing direct patient care in a high-acuity setting. Your responsibilities will include triaging patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, coordinating with physicians and specialists, and documenting clinical findings. You'll need to manage multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining calm and compassionate care during urgent and emergent situations.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• National certification required for non-licensed professionals
• Ability to work the night shift schedule
• Skills-based hiring is not required, though relevant ED experience is valued
