Pharmacist Job in Muskogee, OK

Cornerstone Hospital of Muskogee is seeking a Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a travel assignment. You will work 4x10-hour day shifts, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care and medication management for adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound and dispense medications upon receiving written prescriptions from physicians, processing a minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift
• Review patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy, preventing therapeutic duplication and significant drug interactions
• Interpret medication orders and dispense medications in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards of pharmacy practice
• Prepare STAT, Now, and Waiting orders in order of importance
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing services, including interpreting levels, modifying doses, and writing progress notes per protocol
• Calculate fluid, electrolyte, and calorie needs and monitor patient appropriateness for formulation
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure proper IV refrigerator temperature and hood cleaning logs
• Supervise and direct pharmacy technical support staff, providing professional and technical guidance
• Generate required reports, including Pick IV and Production reports, and perform backup procedures
• Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances
• Participate in Performance Improvement plans and assist with clinical, quality management, and education programs
• Consult with administration, medical staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues

Requirements: Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy license and BLS certification through the American Heart Association required. Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details: 91-day travel position beginning November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,542.
