ICU Registered Nurse Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 126-day travel assignment in our Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours on the night schedule at $2,233 per week, with a start date of October 19, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU settings including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio in the ICU for all shifts
• Float to inpatient floors when needed with a ratio of no more than 1:3
• May float to non-critical care units if ICU census is low and may be utilized as a patient sitter if needed
• Every other weekend requirement or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 1 year of CV ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN, ONS, TNCC, or CPI certifications
• Experience with Swan-Ganz catheters, hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips, CRRT, ICP monitoring, PA lines, or Level 1 Trauma
• Cardiac skill set
• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Epic charting system experience
