ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend commitment required (Friday/Saturday nights)
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other inpatient areas required when home unit is low census
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must have comprehensive assessment skills and experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Preferred experience with CRRT and Epic EMR
• Work in a 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
• Operate equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EKG test required
• Scrub color: Navy; hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts are not acceptable attire
