Job Details:

• Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 4-6 call shifts in a 6-week schedule period
• Call hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekends
• Response time for call is 45 minutes
• If on call after midnight, team member is given up to 8 hours of rest time before potentially being called back in
• Holiday coverage required if holiday falls during contract period
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be the regular assigned shift length
• Must be able to perform general surgery, orthopedics, orthopedic trauma, and/or plastics
• Scrub preferred; circulate required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• 2 years of OR experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of OR experience and strong orthopedics background
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must be proficient in orthopedic surgeries, plastics surgery, robotic surgery, trauma surgery, and urology surgery scrubbing
• Will float to other ORs within service line based on staffing census
• Block scheduling; open block schedule accommodations not available
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily census: 50+ cases per day across 14 operating rooms
• Patient diagnoses include: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Trauma, and Plastics
