Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Details:

• Approximately 8 to 9-hour shifts in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating not required
• Minimum of one year of pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience working with pediatric patients in a rehabilitation setting preferred
• Georgia physical therapy license in hand required at time of submittal
• Work with pediatric patients across a variety of diagnoses including torticollis, acquired or traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, gross motor delays, toe walking, cerebral palsy, orthopedic conditions, and other pediatric rehabilitation needs
• Complete orientation on onsite specialty equipment
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Build strong, ongoing relationships with patients and families through recurring weekly visits
• Provide clear and effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Demonstrate strong time-management skills when completing evaluations and documentation
• Apply evidence-based practices in a pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Be dependable, collaborative, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
