ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department with 6 hall beds and 6 sub-waiting room beds
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:5
• Collaborate with ED Techs, secretaries, AMETs, and Paramedics
• Utilize GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 infuser equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Floating to other areas is not typically required
• Engage in patient experience initiatives including whiteboard usage, keeping patients informed, and ensuring patients and families feel cared for
• Perform procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draws, POC testing, EKGs, and respiratory treatments
• Minimum 2-3 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, CPI (within 30 days), and TNCC
• Dark blue scrubs required
