ED RN Job in Derry, NH

Join Parkland Medical Center NH as a Registered Nurse in our 19-bed Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment running from September 28, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

About the Role

You will care for patients across 6 hall beds and 6 sub-waiting room beds, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5. You'll work alongside ED Techs, secretaries, AMETs, and Paramedics to deliver coordinated emergency care. Floating to other units is not typically required, allowing you to focus your expertise in the ED environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform emergency procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draws, and POC testing
• Obtain EKGs and administer respiratory treatments
• Utilize advanced equipment including GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 infuser systems
• Document patient care in the Meditech system
• Participate in patient experience initiatives, including whiteboard communication and family-centered care

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS or ENPC certification
• TNCC certification
• CPI certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start)
• Dark blue scrubs required

Compensation & Schedule

You will receive a weekly pay rate of $2,227 for this 91-day assignment. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. This travel position offers the stability of a dedicated night schedule in a busy emergency setting where your skills are valued.
