Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,438.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Duration: 90 days

Responsibilities:

You will provide direct patient care on telemetry units while being willing to float to multiple med-surg floors as needed. Your clinical flexibility will support the facility's operational needs across diverse patient populations.

Float Coverage Areas:

• Orthopedic units
• Med-Surg floors
• Neurology Step Down
• Oncology
• Surgical Telemetry
• Med-Surg Telemetry

Location:

The primary facility is located in Des Moines, IA. You may also be assigned to West Lakes Campus, situated 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines. Willingness to work across both locations is required.

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure is required. Experience in telemetry or med-surg nursing is preferred. Flexibility with unit assignments and shift work is essential for this role.
