Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a 13-week contract
• On-call requirement after shift hours Friday through Sunday during scheduled weeks
• Must take call at least two days per week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on need
• Overtime days each week
• Minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• First-time travelers not accepted; travel experience required
• Travel pairs and trios are welcome
• 2 years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma experience
• CVOR experience required including First Assist roles
• Must be proficient in procedures including Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atherectomy, ASD repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, ECMO, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, and VAD management
• Average of 3 hearts per day on unit
• Floating required per facility policy; may float to Main OR if CVOR volume is low
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and CST through NBSTSA (pending certification not accepted)
• All time-off requests must be submitted with the application and are only accommodated if approved by the facility at time of booking
