Telemetry RN Job in Winchester, VA

You'll work as an RN in the float pool at Winchester Medical Center, providing care across Med Surg and Telemetry units. This is a 13+ week travel assignment with day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 guaranteed hours weekly.

About the Role

• Float between Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Manage acute care patients in a Telemetry environment with an average patient ratio of 1:7
• Work every other weekend and holiday rotation
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
• Cardiac experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
• NIH certification
• Valid VA State License or Compact license
• EPIC EMR proficiency required

What to Expect

You'll care for acute care patients in specialty areas including Cardiac, Med Surg, and Telemetry. The facility uses EPIC for electronic health records. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs. As a float pool member, flexibility and strong clinical skills across multiple units are essential.

Compensation

You'll earn $1,955 weekly. Assignment begins October 12, 2026, in Winchester, VA.
